Silver Cloth Experiment

It would be too difficult to go with my original idea with the fan effect so I am hoping to go with this kind of example for the silver fabric.

Story Board for Cloth Animation

I have made a simple story board to help me understand the cloth animation that I am going to create.

1. Cloth enters scene from the right

2. Cloth is in full view

3. Cloth opens up like a fan or bird's crest

4. Cloth has a waving movement

5. Zoom in on the cloth

6. Different view

7. View of the cloth still at the zoomed view

8. Cloth exits on the left

Ideas for cloth shapes

I'm looking for something similar to a bird's wing or a cockatoo's head crest. The fabric will be silver and perhaps with some zebra patterns. My inspiration for the shapes of the fabric have come from this Australian Cockatoo in Fig 1.
