Gazelle Hybrid
Gazelle/Human Hybrid
I started of with a black silhouette and added details to the head.
More details and tones, I added a fur brush which I created.
More details added.
More detail added to the torso. Its not fantastic, but I quite like the way the leg has turned out more than anything else because of the way the tones make it look realistic and the hoofs look slightly shiny.

Progress of my Essay
The Goat Form in Demonology
Introduction
In this essay there will be research that looks into the forms of various demons and finding out what their connection is to the goat. The research will be mainly looking at those that resemble the goat which includes fauns and the Devil. The information that will be used is taken from these books: ‘Gods & Demons’ (O’Neill, 1993), ‘The Devil’ (Link, 1995) and ‘Devils’ (Neret, 2003). The internet will also be used to find out more information and research from the film Pan’s Labyrinth. There will be a small part that looks at goats in Greek mythology and finding out what makes them important.
- Finding out where the Devils goat features come from
- Research into Pan
- Study of Fauns
- Goat like demons in culture

Thomson's Gazelle designs
My creature is the Thomson's Gazelle (Eudorcas thomsonii)
It is a common gazelle often seen across the plains of East Africa traveling in groups. It is an incredibly agile mammal, leaping up high and out maneuvering the cheetah with quick turns and higher endurance, its able to keep going when the cheetah begins to exhaust itself.
