Jitter Cam: The hand held camera used to create a distorted nauseating effect in film. Examples; Cloverfield, The Blair Witch Project.

Bullet Time: A slow motion effect where objects and bullets are seen slowed down considerably with streaks left behind in their trail. Example; The Matrix

Split Screen: This is where two important events are shown on screen at once. Watching two or more images at once. Example; The Forth Kind, The Hulk
